Description

Job Overview: Business Development Executive – Retail to execute and manage retail sales strategies, promotions, and partnerships with key retailers. Play a pivotal role in driving brand visibility, increasing retail sell-in, and building trusted customer relationships. Strong coordination, communication, and reporting capabilities, with a focus on both internal execution and external engagement.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in retail business development, preferably within the FMCG or consumer goods sector.
  • Proven ability to execute retail marketing campaigns and manage cross-functional partnerships.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with retail operations and product placement strategies is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute retail promotions for key brands and product launches across key retail partners.
  • Develop and monitor financial sell-in goals at the wholesale level, ensuring alignment with broader sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing communication with key licensees to coordinate retail promotions and joint sales initiatives.
  • Ensure that Direct-to-Retail (DTR) activities are fully integrated into the sales category plan and effectively executed across all relevant territories.
  • Manage communication flows to stores and key stakeholders, including elements for vendors, partners, shareholders, and analyst presentations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments (e.g., digital, marketing, logistics) to ensure alignment on retail and digital strategies.
  • Support the implementation of customer-facing digital and mobile programs, gaining buy-in from internal teams and retail partners.
  • Maintain all promotional tools, product displays, and demonstration equipment in clean and orderly condition.
  • Foster strong, trusted relationships with retail customers by anticipating their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Develop accurate, timely reporting mechanisms for all business development activities and promotions, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.
