Overview Who are we? Collaboration Betters The World (CBTW), is a company providing tech and business solutions to its clients, through the expertise of its 9 service lines. As a DevOps engineer, you will join our Cloud & Enterprise platforms service line, where we are crafting and implementing transformative cloud strategies and enterprise solutions that enhance productivity, agility, and scalability across all business functions and services. Responsibilities What is your role? You will be part of a journey where you will have two impacts: a client impact and an internal impact. For the internal impact, based on your skills and time, you will be joining our internal DevOps/Cloud community at CBTW, to share knowledge and best practices. Discuss about new technologies and network with other DevOps engineers within CBTW. For the client impact, tasks can vary depending on the client and the project, but we are mainly looking for people with with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team, with following key resposabilities: Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, VMware or Google Cloud. Good understanding of Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI. Ensure the automation of build, test, and deployment processes. Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk. Proactively monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability. Automation and Scripting: Automate routine operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Develop custom scripts to streamline and optimize development and operational workflows. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery processes. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for development and production environments. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices in the infrastructure and deployment processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of infrastructure, processes, and configurations. Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers on best practices and new technologies Qualifications What are we looking for? Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position. Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Technical & soft Skills: Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, etc.). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Knowledge of version control systems (Git / GitLab). Good experience with Datadog Experience with (HAproxy, F5,etc) Knowledge of Linus OS such as Red Hat, Ubuntu, Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Zabbix, etc.). Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar certifications is a plus. Additional Experience: Familiarity with microservices architecture and API management. Experience with database management and optimization. Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
