You’ll take the reins alongside our ranger team in maintaining and conserving Croyde beach, sand dunes, and nature reserves. From safeguarding ecosystems to planning awe-inspiring engagement activities, every day is a chance to protect, inspire, and make a difference.

What you will be doing:

• Maintaining and protecting the beach, sand dunes, nature reserves and surrounding landscape. This could include, but is not limited to, beach cleaning, patrols, enforcing beach rules and ensuring a visible presence in the public eye.
• Building strong connections and positive relationships with the local community, holiday park guests and private owners whilst acting as an ambassador for the local habitat and wildlife.
• Conducting wildlife surveys.
• Liaising with the RNLI to ensure the beach can be used safely by all visitors.
• Carrying out practical habitat conservation work and collaborating with organisations such as Natural England and DEFRA.
