Simpsons Beauty Group is a leading beauty and wellness brand specialising in high-quality treatments, spa experiences, and exceptional customer care. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Beauty Salon Manager to lead our busy salon in the city centre of Lincoln to manage a team of 12–15 therapists, and drive the business forward.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience working as a Beauty Therapist (preferably NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent).
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in a salon or spa environment is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills.
  • Target-driven with a strong understanding of how to grow sales and maximise revenue.
  • Flexible and willing to cover treatments when necessary.
  • Proficient in salon booking software (experience with Phorest an advantage)
  • Required to work weekdays from 9.15 -5pm and until 7pm some Thursdays, aswell as working a Saturday until 5pm
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As our Beauty Salon Manager, you will work closely under our Area Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon, ensuring smooth running, exceptional service, and strong financial performance. You will be the first point of contact for clients, providing a welcoming and professional front-of-house presence while managing staff performance, salon targets, and business growth.
You will also be required to step in and deliver treatments occasionally when needed, so prior experience as a beauty therapist is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work under the guidance of our Area Manager to meet business and performance goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 12–15 therapists to deliver outstanding treatments and customer service.
  • Drive salon turnover by actively working towards sales, treatment, and retail targets.
  • Help manage staff rotas, holidays, and sickness cover to ensure efficient salon operations.
  • Help provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to develop team skills and maintain high standards.
  • Oversee front-of-house duties including appointment scheduling, customer queries, and handling complaints professionally.
  • Help monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure the salon is always clean, welcoming, and in line with health & safety regulations.
  • Step in to carry out beauty treatments when short-staffed.
  • Prepare performance reports and contribute to business growth strategies.
