Bon Vivant Salon is a multiple Award-Winning, well established salon (11+ years) with a loyal client base, offering high quality beauty and wellness treatments in a professional, welcoming environment. We are now looking for a passionate and skilled Beauty Therapist to join our team on a self-employed contractor basis - offering a lucrative 50/50 fee sharing split for services (equates to approx £35-£45 per hour payment). Flexiblity and control over your own diary, arranged over Thu-Sun days only. All products, use of equipment, room facilities, utilities, client base, booking system, laundry included. Free on-street parking, Great location close to West End / North / City Centre of Glasgow. Decadent townhouse with hairdressing and four stylists on ground floor, cosy client chill-out / waiting area, and two beautiful well equipped therapy rooms upstairs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist or similar role.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of English language is preferred.
• Insurance in place (certificate must be provided).
• Professional, reliable, passionate.
• HND Qualified.

THE ROLE:

We’re offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated, highly talented therapist to grow their client base, while working in a supportive setting. The owner is reducing her hours to part-time and has a client base ready and waiting. However, it would be expected given your expertise and experience within the industry, that you would also be able to provide and maintain a clientele of your own. You would be expected to work alongside other friendly team members in a collaborative manner, as well as enjoying the autonomy of independent working and managing clients and your own diary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver a range of beauty therapy and wellness treatments to a high professional standards - facials, clinical peels (AlumierMD), CACI, Hydrofacial, Microneedling, Advanced Waxing skills, Brow & Lash Treatments, Manicure/Pedicure, Holistic Massage, Lymphatic Drainage. Training can be provided if necessary.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organisation of the treatment areas.
• Stay updated with the latest beauty trends and techniques.
• Assist in promoting salon services and products to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Handle client inquiries and provide professional advice on beauty services.
• Uphold the salon’s standards of professionalism and hygiene.
