Job Opportunity: Beauty Therapist/Nail Technician

We are expanding our team! This is an exciting new role in our growing salon. As this is a newly created position, the hours will need to be built up over time. We’re looking for someone who is flexible, passionate, and eager to grow with us!

About Us:
At Palm Beauty Noosa, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality, non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free nail and beauty treatments. Our boutique salon is a sanctuary for clients seeking a relaxing, health-conscious experience, and we’re looking for someone who shares our values.
We are a small, friendly, and tight knit team of 3, so finding the right fit is incredibly important to us. We’re looking for someone who not only shares our passion for non-toxic beauty but also values teamwork, positivity and creating a warm environment for each other as well as clients.
We are busiest with Manicures & Pedicures so we are looking for someone with at least 1-2 years experience in these two treatments. We only offer natural nail treatments including regular nail polish and gel polish. We do not work with Acrylic, SNS or use electric nail files.
We also offer Spray Tanning, Lash & Brow treatments, Waxing & Facials in our private treatment rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional nail and beauty treatments
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere & relaxing service for clients
- Able to positively communicate with clients to build rapport & ensure client retention
- Attention to detail, including cleanliness and hygiene standards within the salon
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in beauty therapy and nail care
- Reception duties including cash handling, answering phone calls and booking in clients
- Opening/Closing of the salon when necessary
Requirements:
- Beauty Therapist or Nail Technician Certificate or Diploma
- At least 1-2 years experience as a Beauty Therapist or Nail Technician
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to client satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ideally available to work Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays
