BEEF ACCOUNT MANAGER

Location: Southern Alberta
You are an accomplished, well-connected individual in the livestock industry looking for an opportunity to join our team.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for exceeding annual sales targets with new growth in your territory while continuing to service and maintain brand loyalty with existing customers. To succeed in this role, you will have thorough knowledge and understanding of complete feed sales programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in agriculture, livestock, or poultry industries.
  • A diploma or degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agribusiness, or a related field is an asset.
  • 3+ years of experience in the beef or agricultural sector is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Must be flexible with travel and scheduling.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
  • Strong understanding of beef production systems and practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell beef products to new and existing customers, including farms, feed stores, and distributors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions, including technical advice on beef management if needed.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
