We’re all about great beer, community, and good times — and we need someone who can bring the same energy to our taproom. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer experience including bar and table service, and practice responsible alcohol serving Pour and serve beer, and N/A beverages using correct pouring techniques Maintain a clean and functional workspace Maintain a clean and functional Taproom and Patio Communicate effectively with coworkers and management Follow and complete all checklists and duties in place Advocate for GPB including all sales, word of mouth advertisement and information relayed to customers Adhere to company policies and procedures as stated in Handbook Self-motivate during shift and perform activities with respect and pride Responsible for safety and well-being of patrons and self Responsible for accurate tracking and accounting of alcohol sales and consumption Responsible for respectful and admirable representation of Goat Patch Brewing Company Able to move, lift, and tap kegs. Heavy lifting may be required Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age, as dictated by our license Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers Must obtain TIPS certification and Cicerone Certification within 90 days of hire date Must be able to work under pressure and handle high volumes, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Appropriate skills developed to effectively work in a team environment with respectful and equal treatment Capable of multitasking with awareness of customer needs and general attentiveness Basic math and literacy skills to include comprehension and retention Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
