Appleseed is hiring for one of its Before and After School programs at a school in the town of Erin, Ontario. The town of Erin is located between Guelph and Orangeville.
This position will begin in September 2025 when school begins.
The successful candidate should live near Erin within an hour’s drive and have their own vehicle as this is a split shift.
The job site will be at 185 Daniel St., Erin, ON, N0B 1T0. Applicants are encouraged to google this address and assess whether they can reliably commute to this address for work in their own vehicle before applying to this position. There is no public transportation to, from, or within the town of Erin.
This position is approximately 32.5 hours per week in the Before and After School program following the school calendar and will begin September 3, 2025 with a few training days and sign on meetings during the last week of August.
The shift hours are 6:45 am - 9:15 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. A one hour of planning time will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 pm each day.
Candidates with the following certifications will be considered:
- RECE registered with the CECE
- a qualified school teacher registered with the OCT
- candidates that hold a Child and Youth diploma and are registered with the OACYC
Applicants with similar qualifications and experience may also be considered.
