Description Job Title: Behavior Interventionist Compensation: $50-$60 per hour; paid bi-weekly Employment Type: W-2 Part-Time Employee; Non-Exempt Schedule: Varies based on the case Location: This is an in-person role based out of the New York City Metro Application Method: Apply via Paylocity (Click here to view our current list of Open Cases) Role Summary Behavior Interventionists are responsible for providing one-on-one mental health services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or other evidence-based treatments to neurodiverse children and adolescents in order to improve their behaviors across settings. Success in this role includes delivering high-quality care, building a consistent caseload, and meeting all supervision and documentation requirements. Behavior Interventionist Responsibilities Provide direct therapy in home, school, and community settings utilizing ABA and other evidenced based principles as developed by Behavior Analyst (BCBAs) and/or Mental Health Clinicians Develop rapport, communicate effectively, and collaborate Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Mental Health Providers and other professionals and/or family members involved with the client’s treatment Collect behavioral data as directed by the supervisor using data collection tools and software Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timelines Participate in required individual and/or group clinical supervision Follow ethical standards, licensing board rules, and organizational policies Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $50-$60 per hour Employee referral and case-specific bonuses available, with uncapped earning potential. 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Billing, credentialing, scheduling, and intake support Flexible scheduling and telehealth options Raise upon completion of graduate program in mental health field Professional Reimbursement (for hourly, w-2 employees): A one-time reimbursement of up to $100 per calendar year (Please note: In order to receive this reimbursement, you MUST be in good standing with all HR related documentation.) Access to a comprehensive ABA professional development program at no cost Opportunities to accrue direct and indirect fieldwork supervision hours and participate in individual and group supervision Requirements Behavior Interventionist Required Qualifications Enrolled in or Graduated with a Master's degree or higher program in Psychology, Counseling/Therapy, Education, Social Work, Behavior Analysis, SLP, OT, PT or related field required Minimum of two years ABA experience or implementing evidence based treatments to neurodiverse children and adolescents with developmental diagnoses required Ability to shift priorities and adjust execution of treatment plan based on feedback provided by supervisor Ability to think on your feet and creatively engage clients while implementing treatment plan Participation in ongoing in-house training and required professional development About Manhattan Psychology Group: Manhattan Psychology Group is a multidisciplinary practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality, wrap-around care to individuals, families, and communities.
