Join TERI Inc. as a Behavior Management Technician and make a real difference in the lives of adults in our Supported Living Services program. In this role, you’ll provide direct support, implement behavior plans, and use your expertise to safely de-escalate behavioral situations while promoting independence and skill development. Your Role & Responsibilities – * Provide direct support and care to adults in the Supported Living Services program, assisting with daily living activities * Implement behavior support plans and interventions under the guidance of QIDP/Program Manager. * De-escalate challenging behavioral situations using approved techniques. * Utilize positive behavior support and other behavior intervention strategies. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of behaviors, interventions, and progress. * Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development. * Assist with household operations as required (meal prep, cleaning, transportation, and activities). * Monitor client safety at all times and respond appropriately to emergencies. * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations. Qualifications – * Must be female to meet the privacy and comfort needs of clients * 6+ months’ experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors using positive behavior support and other behavior intervention strategies. * Demonstrated ability to de-escalate challenging behaviors safely and effectively. * Must possess 40-hour behavior training from BACB * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred Associate of Arts.
