This is Part-Time (16 hours per week) - Monday-Friday (hours will vary)   Earn: $30/hour.   Under appropriate clinical supervision, the Behavior Support Professional completes assessments, develops strategies, writes personalized Behavior Support Plans for individuals with basic to moderate behavior concerns.  This role trains and mentors the support team. This position is responsible for efficient and appropriate development, facilitation, documentation and revision of Behavior Support Plans, according to the person’s Individual Support Plan and per Merakey policy.    Applicant should have a basic understanding of medical factors and its relations to behavior. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology or related * NADD or NADSP certification preferred * Two years experience working with adults with IDD and co-occurring mental health concerns * Experience developing, implementing, or supporting Behavior Support Plans under appropriate clinical supervision
Responsibilities
The Behavior Support Professional completes assessments and develops strategies for individuals with behavior concerns. This role also involves training and mentoring the support team and ensuring the documentation and revision of Behavior Support Plans are conducted efficiently.
