We are looking for a Behavior Support Specialist who thrives in a dynamic early childhood setting. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a direct impact on the behavioral, social-emotional, and academic growth of young children—especially those with unique challenges and strengths. 🌈 WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Deliver therapeutic and behavioral interventions, including ABA strategies and de-escalation techniques. * Partner with lead teachers to embed individualized plans into daily classroom life. * Support children during instruction, play, transitions, dismissal—and every moment in between. * Step in during classroom crises with calm, compassionate problem-solving. * Track student progress through consistent, accurate documentation. * Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow educators. * Collaborate in a trauma-informed, equity-centered environment. 💼 WHAT YOU BRING: * CDA Required, or associate or bachelors degree. Early Childhood or related field preferred. * 3–5 years of experience working with preschoolers with behavioral needs required; ABA experience a plus. * Strong communication skills and a team mindset. * Flexibility, empathy, and a deep belief in the potential of every child. * Bilingual skills are a plus! 🌱 WHY JOIN CHILDREN’S FRIEND?
