As a BSS, you’ll work directly with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve meaningful goals and build positive, lasting skills. You’ll develop and implement individualized behavior support plans, coach staff and families, and make a real difference in people’s lives every single day. What You’ll Do Create and oversee individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) that empower growth and independence for each individual. Conduct behavioral assessments, analyze data, and track progress toward goals. Collaborate with individuals, families, and teams to deliver person-centered supports. Train and mentor staff in positive behavioral interventions and crisis prevention. Visit individuals in their homes and community settings to observe, guide, and support behavioral success. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, or a related field or a PA Behavior Specialist License. 2+ years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. A valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. A genuine passion for empowering others and fostering positive change.
