Join our Head Start team as a Behavior Support Staff member and support young learners as they grow, explore, and build the skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond. Location: Berwick, PA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:30 PM + 1 additional hour/week (33.5 hours/week) Program Year: August–June Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Benefits Eligible In This Role, You Will: Work as part of the classroom team to promote positive social-emotional development Plan and implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) activities Support children with behavioral needs through one-on-one guidance Collaborate with classroom staff to develop and implement behavior plans Track behavioral data and contribute to individualized strategies Meet regularly with staff to support children's progress Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required At least one year of paid experience working with preschool-aged children Behavioral health training and/or experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to supporting early childhood development in a positive and inclusive way Physical Requirements: This is an active role!
