ABOUT THE ROLE:

A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Worker to join their team on a flexible basis, with the potential for full-time hours. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and students to manage behaviour, de-escalate challenging situations, and contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide targeted support to students with behavioural needs across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies.
• Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress.
• Support classroom teachers in maintaining a productive learning environment.
• Monitor and report on student behaviour and progress.
• Work collaboratively with the school’s pastoral and SEN teams.
