ABOUT THE ROLE:

A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Worker to join their team on a flexible basis, with the potential for full-time hours. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and promoting positive behaviour in an educational setting.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and students to manage behaviour, de-escalate challenging situations, and contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide targeted support to students with behavioural needs across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies.
  • Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress.
  • Support classroom teachers in maintaining a productive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on student behaviour and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the school’s pastoral and SEN teams.
