JOB SUMMARY:

  • Teaching skills involving language and social skills, fine and gross motor, relaxation, play, and ADLs
  • Working as a team with other departments including Speech and Occupational Therapy
  • Obtaining/Maintaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification and Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS) Safety-Care Training

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work with children and teenagers of various developmental levels
  • Ability to be trained in and comply with Applied Behavior Analysis intervention methods
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or other related field preferred. Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred
  • Must be able to communicate expressively and receptively in order to follow through with individualized behavior plan, emergency procedures, and report on activities.
