Contract Behavioral Consultant (PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or BCBA)
Hours: Part-Time
Salary: $60 per hour *$65 per hour bilingual
Work Location: San Diego County
Hours: Design your own hours between Monday to Friday
Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) is a nonprofit organization that has been transforming the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities since 1981 and the deaf and hard of hearing since 2000. TMI is committed to the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities into all facets of community life. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, co-occurring mental health diagnosis, and a variety of medical diagnosis. Should have experience performing functional behavioral assessments/analysis, implementing behavioral modification programs, and crisis intervention within the family structure.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Participate in a minimum of 1 clinical meeting per month.
  • Travel up to 1 hours distance and conduct consultations in the client’s home.
  • Bill TMI on a monthly basis, writing (Mileage NOT reimbursed).
  • Monday - Friday - variable days and hours.
  • This is a Contract Position (No Benefits).

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Must be licensed clinician with (LCSW, PsyD, or PhD in Clinical Psychology) or be a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
  • English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
  • At least 12 units of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) preferred.

Responsibilities
  • The Behavioral Consultant shall participate as a member of an interdisciplinary or planning team.
  • Provide direct support and training to youth, individuals, families, resource parents, respite providers, and TMI social workers.
  • Consult with staff, placement agency, funding sources, schools and families to ensure effective implementation of recommended programs and services.
  • Coordinate development of Assessment with Functional Analysis and Behavior Intervention Plan.
  • Complete agency required paperwork
  • Provide monthly written documentation of behavioral services.
  • Provide services in accordance with the level of funding an requirements for overall direct and indirect services.
