Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff and clinical leadership. Assist patients with daily activities and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. Monitor patient behavior and report observations accurately. Support treatment plans and participate in group activities. Respond to crisis situations using approved intervention techniques. Qualifications Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in psychology or related field preferred. Previous experience in behavioral health or healthcare setting is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure. Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass background and drug screening. CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
