Pay Information: Internal Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms. External Hires: This position starts at $39.86 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience. Job Summary: The Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist 2 provides evidence-based behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups in inpatient and outpatient settings. This role works collaboratively within interdisciplinary treatment teams to support patient safety, recovery, and continuity of care while meeting regulatory, documentation, and ethical standards. Please Note: Preference will be given to those who have child and adolescent therapy experience when filling this position. Minimum Qualifications for the Job: Education: Masters degree in social work or behavioral sciences in a licensable discipline by the Alaska Behavioral Regulatory Board. Experience: One (1) year experience as a behavioral health counselor Certification(s): Refer to Mandatory Education Policy upon hire and complete required certifications within the grace period. License(s): Active State of Alaska license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT). Must have a valid Driver's License. Practice Notices: All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substance in the state of Alaska prior to start of employment.
