  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders in an outpatient or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities for mental health, substance use, and trauma.
  • Excellent clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions using a client-centered approach.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build therapeutic alliances and engage diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with specialized populations, such as trauma survivors, veterans, or adolescents.
  • Training in holistic or wellness-based therapies (e.g., mindfulness, yoga, nutrition-based mental health approaches).
  • Experience developing new treatment tracks or auxiliary group programming.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ behavioral health needs, including mental health diagnoses, substance use history, and psychosocial factors.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals, clinical assessments, and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups focusing on mental health, coping strategies, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, case managers, and peer support specialists, to ensure integrated and holistic client care.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed, providing appropriate safety planning, referrals, and crisis resources.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with state and agency policies.
  • Participate in case conferences, treatment team meetings, and clinical supervision to enhance client care and contribute to program development.
  • Stay informed on best practices, research, and evolving treatment modalities by engaging in continuing education and professional development activities.
