Job Summary: Collaborates with team and leaders to develop behavioral health educational program(s) and associated curricula that achieve learning objectives and desired outcomes in alignment with state and federal requirements, accreditation guidelines, and current and future trends. Guides faculty and staff on the delivery of behavioral health education and training as well as providing instruction and guidance to students and/or associates learning to provide care to patients on different treatments, interventions, and approaches to address behavioral health issues. Conducts complex assessments to evaluate the application of skills, knowledge, and training objectives as well as to identify any knowledge and/or training gaps and utilizes results to create development plans for students and/or associates. Organizes and facilitates interdepartmental, regional, and/or faculty meetings, committees, and task forces and leverages data and metrics to design innovative educational programs, inform areas for improvement, develop processes, and implement programs that achieve current and future goals. Engages in professional development opportunities by staying up to date with behavioral health industry practices, educational methodologies, trends, research, standards, and benchmarks to support the development and improvement of education and training programs and acting as an advocate to ensure continuous learning across teams. Ensures compliance of the training and education program with all legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements by monitoring program policies, procedures, and processes. Performs education and training activities by: leading the delivery of behavioral health education and training and providing instruction and guidance to students learning to provide care to patients and mentoring them on different treatments, interventions, and approaches to address behavioral health issues; and administering assessments to evaluate the application of skills, knowledge, and training objectives, and documenting and utilizing results to create development plans for students. Engages in professional development opportunities by: leveraging an advanced knowledge of and staying up-to-date with behavioral health industry practices, educational methodologies, trends, research, standards, and benchmarks to develop and improve education and training programs; and acting as an advocate to ensure continuous learning within and outside the team by identifying and participating in research activities, attending conferences, and/or professional trainings. Leads program and curricula development by: collaborating with team and leaders to identify learning objectives and desired outcomes to inform the design of behavioral health educational program(s) and associated curricula that align with state and federal requirements, and accreditation guidelines as well as serving as a resource to junior team members during the process; and following best practices to conduct complex needs assessments for the program to identify knowledge and/or training gaps and make recommendations on remediation. Supports completion of administrative operations by: organizing interdepartmental, regional, and/or faculty meetings, committees, and task forces to develop and implement programs; and analyzing and synthesizing data and metrics to identify learning gaps and areas of improvement within educational programs to ensure that learner needs and accreditation criteria are met as well as identifying improvements that support advancements within the behavioral health industry and organizational goals. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports. Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Behavioral Science, or related field AND minimum four (4) years of experience in behavioral health or a directly related field.
