Description Behavioral Health Intervention Specialist (bilingual) - Full-Time Location- Perry, and/or Ames, Iowa Woodward Community Based Services (WCBS) is hiring a Behavioral Health Intervention Specialist (BHIS) to provide in-home and community-based mental health services for children, adolescents, and families. This full-time position supports clients ages 4–21 with behavioral health needs, skill development, and mental health interventions to improve functioning at home, school, and in the community. Provide in-home behavioral health services and community-based services Deliver BHIS skill development for children and adolescents (bilingual) Support families using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach Collaborate with therapists and supervisors on treatment planning Complete required clinical documentation and progress notes Travel to client homes, schools, and community settings Spanish language skills (bilingual) Schedule: Flexible, primarily afternoons and evening, with occasional weekends. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field OR equivalent experience/training in child mental health services Experience working with children, adolescents, or families preferred Knowledge of behavioral interventions, mental health diagnosis, and ethical standards Must meet Iowa BHIS requirements and be at least 3 years older than clients under 18 Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
