Description Full-time Clinical Liaison- Inpatient Behavioral Health Salary: $30/hour - $42/hour (Dependent upon experience) Hours: Full-time, Wednesday-Friday 6:30am-7pm Location: Albuquerque, NM (onsite) Summary of Job Duties: Responsible for facilitating admissions to the Behavioral health Unit by performing an initial psychiatric evaluation and/or assisting in determining appropriate level of care. Clinician responds to requests from other facilities within the system. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Work Conditions: May be required to work irregular schedules including but not limited to as applicable: Nights, Weekends, Holidays, on-call, and Overtime. Potential exposure to hazards materials/situations to include but not limited to, blood borne pathogens, ionizing radiation, and communicable diseases. Essential Functions: Responds to service requests to include, but not limited to, the assessment and referral process, the designation of appropriate level of care and admission for Behavioral health services. Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers. Cooperates and interacts well with supervisors and peers. Utilizes the theoretical concepts relative to age-specific and/or chemically dependent patients to guide the effective practice of healthcare. Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested Participates in staff development activities and program meetings to ensure compliance with program objectives and regulatory requirements. Requirements Education: Master leveled clinical licensure of licensed RN required Licensure: RMHC, LMSW, or LPC, or LPCC, or LISW, or LMHC, or RN AND Valid NM Driver's License. Experience: Experience in psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and communication with external review entities. Two (2) years of experience in direct clinical practice in a psychiatric mental/chemical dependency setting
