What you’ll do at OhioMHAS: Assess and evaluate nursing/medical needs of patients Initiate and direct implementation of the nursing care plan Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior and condition Administer medications and treatment as ordered by the physician Assist with physical examinations Respond to emergency situations Directs delivery of and evaluate psychiatric/nursing care of patients delivered by professional and nonprofessional staff Prepare, review, implement and update records/reports/plans Serve as an interdisciplinary treatment team member This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of #13 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 Pay Range Schedule. This position is located at 1756 Sagamore Road, Northfield, Ohio. Shifts are to be Determined. Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter. Additional Salary / Appointment Information: Additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for hours worked from 3:00 pm -7:00 am Additional $3.50 per hour retention supplement for hours worked from 3:00 - 7:00 am Additional hourly retention supplements available for education and certifications July 1, 2026, 3%25 percent pay increase Longevity supplement after 5 years of service Service supplement 2%25 at 12-24 months; 4%25 at 25-48 months; and 5%25 at 49 plus months Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.
