Behavioral Health Safety Coach Fairfax Hospital Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Safety Coach to join the team. Behavioral Health Safety Coach Job Responsibilities: Facilitates the debrief of a safety event or safety concern. Participates in safety meetings and serve on the workplace violence committee. Educates, trains, and mentors Clinical Technicians and Mental Health Technicians on aspects of safety incident reporting. Disseminates and delivers safety messaging as appropriate to the organization. Provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical work experience Certification: Basic Life Support Upon Start from the American Heart Association- Upon Start. Crisis Prevention Institute Within 3 Months Preferred Qualifications: Psychiatry, Mental Health and Behavioral Health background
Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Safety Coach facilitates the debrief of safety events and participates in safety meetings. They also educate and mentor clinical staff on safety incident reporting and provide direct patient care under supervision.
