Description ****Average salary is $23.49 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)**** About the Role We’re looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. This role focuses on supporting children with severe emotional and mental health challenges by developing personalized service plans and delivering compassionate care through Targeted Case Management and Rehabilitation Skills Training. Who You Are You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field. You have at least one year of experience working with children in the mental health field. You’re compassionate, motivated, and committed to helping families thrive. You’re a strong advocate who connects families with the resources they need. You believe in the power of individualized support and community-based care. What You’ll Do Create and implement individualized service plans for children. Provide home visits, referrals, education, and other supportive services. Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and Medicaid billing. Attend meetings and workshops, and follow up on all assigned cases. Advocate for children and families, monitor progress, and coordinate services. Deliver services in homes, schools, and other community settings.
