Responsibilities Provides direct patient care and supportive services to patients with mental health disorders as well as chemically dependent patients to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients. Carries out a variety of patient care activities which support the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu, and which meet the patient's needs for comfort and safety. May also perform the duties and responsibilities of an Emergency Department Technician Qualifications KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other Behavioral Health related field OR two (2) years of experience in psychiatric settings in a clinical/direct patient care job. Must hold American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS). KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED Patient care experience in a hospital or inpatient mental health facility. Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): 7am-7pm Weekend Requirements: Yes
