Description Behavioral Health Technician Recovery Unplugged – Austin, TX All Shifts Overview: Recovery Unplugged, a licensed drug and alcohol treatment center with multiple locations across the U.S., is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians for our residential facility located in Austin, TX. We provide comprehensive, long-term substance abuse treatment, including detox, residential care, and outpatient programs. Our innovative approach blends evidence-based treatment with music to enhance client outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Establish open lines of communication and build rapport with clients facing behavioral or emotional challenges. Ensure clients are following house rules. Complete intake procedures, including drug tests, personal belongings search, and client intake documentation using KIPU. Oversee discharge procedures, including returning personal belongings and ensuring discharge paperwork is completed via KIPU. Perform drug testing on incoming intakes and conduct random UA’s (urinalysis) on clients. Conduct regular client safety checks (Q15-Q30). Maintain cleanliness of the facility at all times. Flexible schedule availability. Knowledge and understanding of the 12-step program and the disease model of addiction. Experience with KIPU EMR is preferred.
