Our residents are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating, and challenges related to neurodivergence. You'll build meaningful relationships with residents while supporting their daily routines and emotional growth in a calm, structured environment. No healthcare experience required—we provide full training. Why Join Us: Smaller, relationship-centered program for teen girls Focus on primary mental health: anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergence $500 sign-on bonus for Full Time positions Full training provided—no prior experience needed Career path in behavioral health, counseling, or human services Supportive team alongside therapists, nurses, and educators What You'll Do: Support residents through daily routines: meals, activities, self-care, and recreation Build rapport and provide a consistent, calm presence for teens navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma Monitor resident safety and provide one-on-one support when needed Use de-escalation techniques during emotional moments Support residents with disordered eating through mealtime structure and encouragement Communicate with clinical staff about resident progress and concerns during shift handoffs Transport residents to appointments and outings (clean CA license required) Document behaviors and observations per program requirements Administer medications per physician orders (training and certification provided) Requirements What We're Looking For: Must Have: High school diploma or GED Valid CA driver's license with clean record First Aid/CPR certified (or willing to obtain) Calm, patient, and reliable—teens depend on consistent support Comfortable supporting young women through emotional challenges Preferred: Coursework or degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field Experience working with teens, in residential settings, or mental health programs Familiarity with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, or neurodivergent populations About Muir Wood: We provide trauma-informed, relationship-centered residential treatment for teens ages 12–17.
