Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Trevose - Feasterville Trevose, PA 19053 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: Up to 50% Job Shift: Varied Job Category: Health Care Malvern Community Health Services (MCHS) is currently seeking part time Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT). This position is a part time position and offers applicants a unique and flexible schedule. Position Summary: The Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) provides specialized behavioral services directed by a detailed treatment plan and under the direction of a BC, who is responsible for the treatment plan. Summary of Essential Position Functions: Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to client Assist parent/caregiver and/or teacher with implementation of behavior plan Monitor client’s behaviors emphasized in the treatment plan; intervene and redirect challenging behaviors Collaborate with team members and must work in context of transferring skills to others Attend monthly treatment team meetings with client, family and treatment team Provide services within authorized amount of hours & Complete all paperwork within policy time frames Attend staff meetings & mandatory trainings as necessary and comply with all IBHS policies Attend trainings (must have twenty (20) hours per year if an experienced BHT; non experienced BHT need thirty-nine (39) hours of training within the first six (6) months of hire) BHT with less than six months of previous BHT experience must receive six hours of on-site assessment & assistance by a qualified supervisor. BHT with more than six months of previous BHT experience must receive three hours of assessment/assistance by a qualified supervisor. Ability to develop therapeutic rapport with treatment team, clients and families Attend weekly supervision with master’s level mental health professional Travel to and from client sites to perform services (100% travel required) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications: This position requires individuals that are client focused; team oriented; great interpersonal and communication skills; dependable; problem solving skills; organizational skills; focused on compliance and performance quality.
