Position Overview Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT’s) monitor and assist adolescent clients in the residential milieu, lead activities designed to help the residents adjust to living in a community setting and assist the residents in gaining the skills needed to manage their eating disorder. BHT’s play an integral role in the day-to-day function of the clients’ experience. Schedule Full Time 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) Evening/Overnight Evening Shifts: 2pm-10:30pm, 4pm-12:30am Overnight Shifts: 10pm-6:30am Every other weekend required (Saturday & Sunday) Schedule is made a month at a time with a combination of both evening and overnight shifts Compensation Disclosure BHT I: Starting hourly range between $18.00-$21.00 Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position How BHT’s Empower Recovery Partners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programming Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreation Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in charts Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction. Monitors and documents exercise. Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checks Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required with one year of Mental health experience or Bachelors degree in Mental health field with 0-1 year of experience Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive Previous direct mental health experience preferred What we offer: Employee Benefits: We understand the importance of a well-rounded benefits package.
