Position Overview: The Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential and inpatient milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance. Schedule: Full-time, 0.4 FTE (16 hours/week) 2nd shift, 2p-10:30p Rotating weekends and holidays required How Behavior Health Technicians Empower Recovery: Partners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programming Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreation Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in charts Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction. Monitors and documents exercise. Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checks Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required with one year of Mental health experience or Bachelors degree in Mental health field with 0-1 year of experience Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive Previous direct mental health experience preferred What we offer: Employee Benefits: We understand the importance of a well-rounded benefits package.
