Behavioral Health Technician – Residential (On Call)  * Salary Range: $24.04 - $33.66 per hour, based on relevant years of experience * Location: Fort Collins, Colorado at the Garcia House * Status: PRN, On call as needed  Employees working at locations operating 24/7 earn a differential.  Shift differentials are also available for evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.   The salary range for this position is SummitStone’s good faith belief and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this position at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including the applicant’s education, training, skills, experiences, and other job-related information and how relevant those are to SummitStone’s needs, aspirations, organizational priorities, and the evolving needs and delivery of services to the community that it serves.   Role Overview:   Responsible for providing support and direct care for clients in our inpatient/residential programs. Provide client intervention and milieu management services, working closely with our medical/clinical staff to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment in our 24/7 facilities. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to help support clients in their treatment plan goals, clinical and medical treatment services, and therapeutic progress. Provide individual, group, family, and crisis therapeutic interventions. Monitor service plans, documents interactions, maintain clinical records and other necessary information for clients served. The role will work with and advocate for diverse and often marginalized populations daily to provide interventions, support, and resources, and to ensure that the appropriate services are offered in an inclusive and equitable manner. Essential Duties:  * Provide effective milieu management to support a safe and therapeutic environment. * Conduct brief counseling interventions to address immediate client needs. * Facilitate psychoeducation and activity groups as part of the therapeutic programming. * Participate in treatment planning, contributing clinical insights and recommendations. * Collaborate extensively with an interdisciplinary team, including Registered Nurses, Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Therapists, and Psychologists. Minimum Qualifications:   * Bachelor’s degree in health/human services required * At least one year of experience working in behavioral health setting or programs required Licenses and Certifications: * Substance Use Disorder training program involvement required upon hire. * Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record required * CPR and First Aid certifications required Preferred Qualifications: * Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) in Colorado preferred * Trauma Informed Care experience preferred * Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred SummitStone will take into consideration a combination of an applicant’s education, training, skills, experiences, and other job-related information and how relevant those are to SummitStone’s needs, aspirations, organizational priorities, and the evolving needs and delivery of services to the community that it serves.
