JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities and will be skilled in providing therapeutic support in home, school, and community settings. The Behavioral Therapist will play a crucial role in assessing clients’ needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing effective therapeutic interventions to promote mental health and well-being. Providers will also support behavioral health technicians in facilitating interventions with mutual clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; licensure supervision is available to clinicians.
  • Experience working in a home, school, or community-based with individuals with autism and other disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to ethical standards in clinical practice.
  • Compassion and professionalism to work with at special needs populations and their families/community supports
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $54,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify behavioral health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide behavioral treatment utilizing ABA principles and clinical counseling to clients facing various challenges, including autism, disabilities, and mental health disorders.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in behavioral therapy and ABA to support client progress and recovery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community-based supports (case management, education professionals etc.) , to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical terminology standards.
