A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Kansas City, KS. This contract position spans the full school year, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ behavioral development and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust techniques as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to support a holistic approach to student development
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and achievement
  • Provide direct one-on-one or small group support tailored to the needs of students with behavioral challenges

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience working in school settings preferred, especially with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and observational skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
