We are currently seeking a Behavioral Intervention Specialist to support individuals in our OPWDD-funded Residential Program. Join us — and help individuals thrive in the ways that matter most. Salary is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This position is fully benefits eligible. Responsibilities Build trusting relationships with individuals in our residential program. Conduct 1:1 behavioral and ADL (Activities of Daily Living) assessments. Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Support Plans tailored to individual needs. Perform sexuality assessments and evaluate an individual’s capacity to consent for medical care, as needed. Guide and train staff in the successful implementation of behavior support strategies. Document all assessments, plans, and progress clearly and comprehensively. Serve as a resource and model for families and staff — offering support, tools, and coaching to foster long-term success. Travel to other program locations on occasion to support continuity of care. Qualifications Master’s degree from a program in a clinical or treatment field of social work or psychology, or a BCBA or LBA, or an NYS license in mental health counseling. Responsibilities
