As a Behavioral Support Specialist (BSS) at BrightPath Human Services, you will play a key role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by developing, implementing, and maintaining individualized Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) and Restrictive Behavioral Support Plans (RBSPs). You will provide direct training to all Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on these plans and serve as a valued member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Director of IDD Services.
This role requires a balanced approach, with approximately 50% of your time spent in the office and 50% in the field, engaging directly with the individuals we serve. You must also be available for on-call support during crisis situations. Typical schedule is M-F 8am-4pm.
