OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and possess the skills necessary to provide effective therapeutic support. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients develop coping strategies, improve their social skills, and enhance their overall well-being. REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and pediatric care is beneficial.
  • Strong skills in data collection and analysis for tracking patient progress.
  • Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of children.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions to children, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Engage in ongoing research to stay updated on best practices in behavioral therapy.
  • Participate in case management activities to coordinate care for patients.
  • Educate families about behavioral health issues and available resources.
