Surrey Place helps people learn new skills, gain self-confidence and reach their full potential.     Position Description  Reporting to the Manager, Complex Community Teams, the Urgent Response Services (URS) at Surrey Place is seeking a Behaviour Analyst-Supervisor to provide clinical accountability and oversight of individualized ABA assessments and treatments in the community (e.g., family homes) with children and youth up to the age of 18. Clients receiving service in this program have a diagnosis of Autism and other Developmental Disorders and exhibit behavioural, communication, and socialization challenges requiring an urgent response for up to 12 weeks. Services will include direct assessment and implementation of treatments with clients and a focus on building parent/mediator capacity to effectively support their child/youth. This position will provide supervision, guidance and working assignments to a team of Instructor Therapists.  Main Responsibilities  * Clinical accountability for individualized ABA assessment, including functional analyses as required, and leading the behaviour treatment and evaluation for clients deemed eligible for urgent response services. * Provision of clinical supervision, coaching, training, and work assignments to a team of Instructor Therapists.  * Work with an interprofessional team and parents/caregivers/mediators to ensure continuity of care.  * Establishing and maintaining positive communications with families and other professionals involved in the service plan.   * Problem-solving with staff and families/mediators regarding issues and concerns.  * Participation in Quality Assurance Reviews for children/youth in the urgent response service.  * Hours of operation include ability to work evenings each week and Saturdays. * Extensive travel within the City of Toronto will be required. Qualifications  * Master’s degree in Psychology or related field.  * Member in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario as a Registered Behaviour Analyst. * 3 years of senior experience as a BCBA  and/or RBA supporting individuals with severe maladaptive behaviours (e.g., aggression, self-injury, property destruction).  * Knowledge of Autism and Developmental Disabilities, community-based services. * Excellent demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  * Successful completion of Safe Management Group training for de-escalation and personal safety. * The successful candidate must provide an acceptable Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening). * Fluency in French is considered an asset.    Surrey Place values the diverse and intersectional identities of its staff, clients and families and regards equity and neurodiversity as fundamental at all levels of our organization.
