OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Interventionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to a 3 year with Autism.
The ideal candidate will of worked with young children on the spectrum, especially non-verbal.
I am looking for someone who also is comfortable as a caregiver for my 2 boys outside of therapy hours. This is once connection and trust is built. Experience with touch chat is preferre.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with children, particularly those with Autism.
• Strong understanding of ABA
• Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral assessments.
• Outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and professionals.
• Ability to remain patient and empathetic in challenging situations while maintaining professionalism.

• Assess and evaluate the behavioral needs of children, developing individualized treatment plans.
• Implement behavior modification strategies and interventions based on best practices.
• Monitor and document progress, collecting data to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for children.
• Foster positive relationships with children, promoting trust and open communication.
