Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE:

You’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs—helping them re-engage with learning in a structured, nurturing environment.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Delivering one-to-one and small group support to students with additional needs.
  • Building strong, positive relationships that foster trust and progress.
  • Working alongside teaching staff to implement behaviour plans and learning strategies.
  • Encouraging positive behaviours and promoting a safe, inclusive atmosphere.
  • Remaining calm, professional, and compassionate—even when things get tough.

You’re someone with life experience, empathy, and a proactive mindset. You may have worked in one of the following roles—or something similar:

  • Support Worker or Carer
  • Residential Worker or Healthcare Assistant
  • Youth Mentor or Sports Coach
  • Ex-Forces or Police Office
