Behaviour Support Worker This role involves supporting participants with complex needs, including those who may display behaviours of concern. You’ll work closely with individuals to implement consistent, trauma-informed strategies that promote safety, stability, and quality of life. Experience in either community support or complex behaviour is highly regarded. We're looking for people who are compassionate, dependable, and committed to making a difference. PLEASE NOTE: This role requires shift work and a willingness to meet the physical and emotional demands of the job. Please do not apply if you are unable to fulfill these requirements. Key Responsibilities: Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, manual handling, and medication management. Provide support in challenging situations with flexibility, resilience, and strength. Build rapport and trust with participants through active listening and empathy. Work effectively within a team and contribute to shared team goals. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and think on your feet. Essential Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have: The ability to work shift work, including weekends, sleepovers, and active nights. A Certificate III in Disability/Individual Support (or similar qualification). A valid Working with Vulnerable People & NDIS endorsed Worker Screening Check. A current First Aid & CPR Certificate. Completion of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module (available at ndiscommission.gov.au/workers/training-course). A driver’s license and reliable transportation.
