Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As the Behavioural Support Coordinator, you will support the implementation of Positive Behaviour Support strategies and person-centred practices across our services. This is a hands-on role that combines administrative duties, behavioural data analysis, and direct support to enhance the quality of life for the individuals we support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support administrative tasks.
  • Assist Quality Director and Responsible individual.
  • Analyse data to identify patterns in behaviours.
  • Review behaviour monitoring recordings to identify triggers to feed into care plans.
  • Utilize Matrix for Analysis and Intervention Development
  • Assist in running workshops, training sessions, and meetings.
  • Attend Team Meetings to implement and inform staff on correct behaviour practice.
  • Attend and minute take in Multi-Disciplinary Meetings as required.
  • Observe staff practice in service.
  • Assist in the planning of transition for new individuals to service
  • Build positive relationships with the people we support and our staff teams.
  • Serve as a point of contact for team queries.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond appropriately to queries.
  • Document control and authorisation.
  • Assist senior managers as required.
  • Assist with other tasks as required.
