Overview PURPOSE STATEMENT: Responsible for the delivery and implementation of behavioral health or recovery programs within a facility. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Provide patient care to include coordinating activities, providing companionship and assisting with basic daily needs (dressing, bathing, eating). · Collaborate with treatment team members to assist with patient treatment and/or care goals. · May serve as a co-lead for groups. · Monitor the daily well-being of patients and identify need for social intervention. · Ensure all documentation regarding the program, such as care, treatment or incidents, is completed in a clear, concise, professional and completed in a timely manner. · Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority. OTHER FUNCTIONS: · Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: · Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field required. · One or more years previous experience in behavioral health with population of the facility preferred. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: · Certification in specialty of program preferred. · CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). · First aid may be required based on state or facility.
