You’ll be a friendly, helpful presence that enhances the guest experience from the moment they arrive. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Promptly and safely transport luggage to and from guest rooms; secure, tag, and store luggage as requested Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services; provide information about local attractions Respond appropriately to guest complaints and notify supervisors of major issues Conduct property walkabouts to monitor and report safety concerns Respond to safety issues reported by guests or employees Administer first aid as needed and complete accurate incident reports within company timelines Assist with guest requests, including delivery of dry cleaning, mail, or other special services Maintain a clean and safe hotel entrance and surrounding areas Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments Perform other duties as assigned, following all Company and Marriott brand standards QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent; some guest service or hotel experience preferred Fluent English required; other languages a plus Valid driver’s license PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to carry, lift, or push items up to 100 pounds Comfortable moving throughout hotel public areas Capable of bending, stooping, and kneeling OTHER Communication skills are used frequently when interacting with guests, clients, and employees Reading and writing skills are utilized often for logs, records, and reading signage May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays ACCESSIBILITY COMMITMENT (AODA) Easton’s Group of Hotels and the Kingston Marriott are committed to fostering an accessible and inclusive workplace in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
