Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Bell/Valet Attendant (Overnight) for the Ohia Waikiki Studio Suites in Honolulu, HI. Position Summary: The Valet position is a customer-facing role responsible for providing exceptional service by safely parking and retrieving guests' vehicles in a timely and courteous manner. This role serves as the first and last point of contact for guests, making a positive and lasting impression on behalf of the establishment. The valet must ensure the security and proper handling of vehicles while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical to prevent damage and ensure smooth operations. Ultimately, the valet contributes to an outstanding guest experience by combining efficiency, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills.  Minimum Qualifications: * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. * Ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely and confidently. * Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude. * Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle luggage or other items. * Basic knowledge of traffic and parking regulations. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience as a valet or in a similar customer service role. * Familiarity with local area and traffic patterns. * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Certification in defensive driving or related safety training. * Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission. Responsibilities: * Upon arrival, greets and assists guests by helping unload luggage from vehicle. * Safely park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. * Maintain clear communication with guests and team members to coordinate vehicle movement efficiently. * Inspect vehicles for any pre-existing damage and report any incidents immediately to management. * Assist guests with luggage or other needs as appropriate to enhance their overall experience. * Keep the valet area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times. * Manage keys securely and maintain accurate records of vehicle locations. * Provide information and directions to guests as needed. Skills: The required skills are utilized daily to ensure the safe and efficient handling of vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. Strong driving skills and knowledge of vehicle operation are essential for parking and retrieving cars without incident. Communication skills enable the valet to interact effectively with guests and team members, ensuring smooth coordination and a positive guest experience. Physical stamina and attentiveness help manage the demands of the role, including standing for long periods and handling luggage.
