Job Description Edit English (US) Job Posting Title: Bellperson Job Description   Essential Duties/Responsibilities • To be the most outgoing and welcoming associate as guests arrive and depart the hotel • Maintain an impeccable grooming appearance and work uniform • Assists guests with luggage • Stay posted at the front entrance to greet guests • Must be able to stand for long periods of time • Going above and beyond providing a minimum Four-diamond level service to each and every guest Other Duties/Responsibilities • Supporting all of the guest services team and assisting guests with any questions they may have • Respond to all guests for assistance, directions, and facilities information • Report all safety hazards and suspicious person • Know all safety and emergency procedures and your role in assisting during these times • Adhere to strict department and attendance policies • Attend all required meetings Job Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Knowledge/Experience: previous customer service experience in a high-volume setting is preferred but not necessary. Previous valet experience and a valid driver’s license is required. Clean driving record is preferred. Skills: • Excellent Communication skills- both verbal and written required • Excellent organization and time management skills • Good interpersonal skills required • Excellent listening skills required Abilities: • The ability to work well as a team as well as individually at times • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English • Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment • Must be adaptable and flexible to change • Ability to work a flexible schedule and must be able to work weekends and holidays • To remain calm and professional at all times • Ability to work under varying weather conditions • Be able to make quick decisions and possess good judgment • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
