Description Become an integral part of our growing team RPM seeks an experienced Belt Fabricator/Maintenance Technician to join our Grand Rapids team. This 1st shift position is great for a technical, hands-on person, looking for more work/life balance! About Us: RPM, a division of Weimer Bearing, specializes in the distribution of power transmission components and world-class conveyor solutions, including conveyor belting, fabricated belting products, belting accessories and conveyor maintenance. Due to expansion, we are looking to add to our fabrication department. We are searching for either an experienced belt fabricator/maintenance technician or someone that has the desire to learn and be trained. Responsibilities include: Fabrication of all types of belting – including slitting, skiving, punching, cut to length belt preparation, mechanical lacing and fastening, chemical endless procedures, and all other fabrication operations. Candidate will be involved other aspects of our belt shop – including quality control, custom fabrication, field installations at customer locations, and general housekeeping. Requirements: Must be able to properly read a ruler, able to lift 50 lbs., and be safety conscious.
