Our Opportunity Work Location: Eliwana - Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people. Roster: 8 days on 6 days off Reporting to the Conveyor Maintenance Suoervisor, this role will be responsible for repairing, maintaining and improving conveyor systems and equipment to meet operational requirements.Key Responsibilities Carry out steel cord & fabric conveyor belt splicing and repairs Lag pulleys on site with cold vulcanized lagging in compliance with FMG work standards Apply rubber linings to pipes, spools, launders, chutes etc Conveyor system maintenance including but not limited to roller changes, roller frame change out & repairs, skirt replacement & repairs, installation of tracking devices Maintain safety & belt hygiene standards across the fixed plant process Operate mechanical conveyor belt handling equipment such as winders, winches and belt stands Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and log all information into the asset management app (PDS) Qualifications and Experience Level 2 or 3 Belt Splicing trade qualification or similar. Knowledge and experience in computer maintenance management systems Significant experience in a fixed plant continuous processing plant Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale, continuous processing plants Proven commitment to safety and zero harm About Us   Be part of something big.
